Refund policy

Foreword

In rare cases, one or more products in an order may be damaged during transit while in the possession of our shipping partners. If one or more of your products arrive damaged, please send detailed, clearly visible photos of the damage, including images of the packaging, to hello@thestormstudio.com. In cases where one or more products are significantly damaged, STORM may, at its discretion, decide to repair or replace the damaged products after reviewing the submitted photos ("damage assessment"). By requesting a damage assessment, you explicitly agree to and acknowledge the following terms:

  1. Photos of the damaged areas of the product(s) must be clearly visible and submitted in .jpg or .png format;
  2. The photos of the damages must be received no later than 72 hours after the delivery date provided by the shipping service responsible for delivering the order;
  3. The photos of the damages must have been taken immediately upon receiving the product(s), and the product(s) must not have been hung, set up, or otherwise installed prior to taking the photos of the damages;
  4. A damage assessment requires at least 30 business days to be completed, and we reserve the right to decide, at our discretion, whether to repair or replace the damaged product;
  5. The delivery of a replacement product, if applicable, is subject to current production capacity, stock availability, and shipping schedules, and you are responsible for covering the return shipping costs in the original packaging, if not too damaged (including all accompanying certificates received with the order), should we decide to repair or replace the product.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last good.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (the STORM studio e.K., Turnstraße 9/1, 75328 Schömberg, Phone: +49 176 58061370, Email: hello@thestormstudio.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract through a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

  • for the supply of goods which are, after delivery, inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature.

Premature Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts:

  • for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
